Explore the vast boat-making facility within which Arden’s works will be presented.
The artist will be present both days to discuss her works and lead walking tours for her guests.
Aids to Navigation includes 70+ floor-standing works constructed from raw steel and materials salvaged from local shipyards. Produced completely without assistance (as she has consistently worked for more than 5 decades) in her studio over the past 5 years, Aids to Navigation is driven by Arden’s deep connection to lore and literature, mythology, and stories of the sea.

An array of Ms. Scott’s large scale steel sculptures from several recent and ongoing bodies of work, including her Aids to Navigation series, will be presented throughout Wooden Boatworks magnificent Southold facility.
Arden Scott: Height of Eye will remain on view Saturday, Sunday & Monday, February 13, 14, & 15, from noon-5 each day.
